5 How to Repair Engine Oil Leak

4. Pay attention to the car ring

5. Use seal tape

A damaged gear seal or kick starter seal can be repaired without disassembling the engine. If a leak occurs in this section, then you only need to pry out the damaged seal, then replace it with a new seal. After that, add oil to maintain the specified oil capacity.

Keep in mind, that this method of dealing with leaking oil without disassembling the car engine only applies to minor damages. If there is a cracked part of the engine block, it must be immediately taken to the repair shop and replaced with a new engine block.
